The idea of a studium humanitatis originated in the European Renaissance of the fifteenth and sixteenth centuries. Its central premise was the interdisciplinary study of language, literature, history and thought. Humanities at Republic University have remained faithful to this vision and had even amplified it. This is this great vision of the future that promotes the constitution of the three different academic bodies that constitute this Faculty so it contains a College of Social Sciences, a School of Art as well as a School of Behavioural Sciences.

With courses that go from Politics or Contemporary Media to Education or Psychology and a range of languages, European and Asian, which is unrivalled in the U.K, R-UN will satisfy the most demanding scholars. Throughout, there is a blend of ancient and modern, traditional and innovative, English and international.

Our College of Social Sciences will offer you courses like Sociology or Politics but will explore other fields such as the Human Resources development.

The School of Art has a very unique and large choice of courses and programmes that will offer you a career in Education, Communication (Electronics or traditional) or even Design. Our Diplomas in Theology are now well known and will satisfy the most difficult scholars.

It’s in our School of Behavioural Sciences that you will find our Psychology degrees as well as our criminology programmes with their extensive choice of courses. Our Speech and Hearing Sciences programme will help professionals to offer solution to a difficult human problem.
