About the Adam Smith School of Business and our mission
The Adam Smith School of Business focuses on education in theory and practical methods related to business administration and management. Various issues that individual firms face such as business management, decision-making, personnel affairs, corporate research and development, and marketing are taken up in this School. The methods of industrial analysis and financial theory are also basic topics in this School.
Firms are the prime mover of modern economies. This School offers an innovative program that centers around firms and their performance in market economies. First, it deals with the relationship between firms and the markets that surround them. This is a research area that is witnessing rapid development in recent years. Second, the school studies the administration of business and the internal organization of firms. This is an about which the traditional studies and business history have accumulated a wealth of knowledge. Third, the school is concerned with the management of financial flows within firms and the accounting methods and practices of financial data.
Students are expected to probe deeply into their own research projects while studying the basics of theory, statistics, and history. It is important that students, that develop a particular interest in the field of Accounting, realize that this field is well covered by the Robert Owen College of Economics.
We are extremely proud to present to you our programme of E-business that is already a must at Republic University. We already have a lot of demand for this programme although it is relatively new at the Adam smith school of Business. Not to mention our famous specialized M.B.A’s who attract attention in today’s world economy by the total versatility of our graduate. We make sure that they will adapt successfully to any of the challenges that are facing the business firms in a planetary economy.
